Hello, I’m thinking about buying, (very close to buying) a 2017 LEAF. It’s Nissan Certified Used with a 7yr/100,000 powertrain warranty.

However, I was looking at the CarFax today and I noticed that it had an alignment at 4,000 miles and a thrust angle alignment at a little over 10,000. Should I worry?

I’m buying the car because my son is high risk and we can’t use the bus right now. I just want to make sure, I’m not setting myself up for trouble.

Thank you much.

Thank you. I appreciate the feedback. It seems fine now. The alignment was done about 10,000 miles ago, I think it’s okay. Thanks again.

You're very welcome. It's an unusual issue with the Leaf, and with an older car I might be suspicious of crash damage, but in a new, low mileage Leaf I think that it was more likely a build quality issue.
