Leaf not charging - 3rd light blinks

Hi everyone, I recently leased a Nissan Leaf. At the level 2 charging station, it doesn't seem to work. I plugged it in, it beeped and then the third light started to slowly blink. It wasn't charging at all.

Then I did a workaround. I connected my trickle charger to my car. It started charging. I then disconnected the trickle charger and then plugged in the previously non working level 2 wall charger. And then it started charging.

Do you know what could be the cause of this? I haven't tried out any other charging stations yet (i only just now got my blink card activated).

Any others have this problem? Please help.

When the indicator light (3) flashes
The indicator light (3) flashes when the 12-volt battery is being charged. The indicator also flashes when the following systems are operating:

• Climate control timer
• Remote climate control
• Li-ion battery heater (if so equipped)

My money is on a climate control timer since I don't believe that operates when on L1 (not enough power) to do both, IIRC.
