Not useful, in a larger sense. DCQCs are expensive, and people that get to use them for free do things like charge from 80% to 99%, taking 40 minutes. EA has made deals with other EV manufacturers to lower tariffs for those EVs. I imagine that Nissan could subsidize EA charging for LEAF owners although it seems really unlikely to me unless Nissan changes course and decides it wants to really compete for EV marketshare in the USA rather than be another token compliance player.
