I think most will agree with you. While going from a dying 30 kWh good for 40-60 miles depending where driving on small roads or the interstate going 75 MPH to 100-160 mile range depending on speed was awesome when I hit 3 towns that is 80 miles before any side trips. When I did this a few weeks ago I got home with 15% SOC remaining when I prefer never to go below 30%.
I was reading in the Philippines the average one way commute was 7-8 miles so with few side trips a full charge could last all week. The people that drive 30-40 miles daily where the speed limit is 35-45 MPH in cities the 40 kWa may work fine. I have a few doctor appoints 90-125 miles away so I just grab the Subaru or F-150 if going over 50 miles from home.
In the USA anything short of 300 miles of range is like being on a short leash for many of us.
