This is the bomb :) I purchased my CS-60 for my Rav a month ago. Now I wish I had purchased this instead. But it's on my wish list. A portable that can charge my leaf at 6.6 or Rav at 9.6... wow Bonus points... it's produced 10 miles from my home. Good job Manzanita 8-)

Yes.. Your right, not necessarily better brakes, but firmer. I like the solid brake peddle feel of the Leaf.

Thanks, "Fiasco" may have been too strong a word. I just don't like unknowns with something I've purchased. Now I don't care about the battery. A much nicer place to be mentally, and financially. And my "buying the Leaf was a mistake" comment was off too. Not really a mistake at the time...

That's too bad. I own both and I love both. But I drive the Rav because it an incredible machine. Although I'm ready to deal with any issues that arise, I haven't had any issues. Just pure EV joy. Fast, almost twice the usable range as the Leaf, super functional (I carry 10 ft lengths of lumber...

Those Torquedo electric outboards are nice... and expensive Nice... I've done some weight calculations and it looks like the Leaf battery pack weight is very close to offsetting the 35hp diesel, tranny, and 200 lbs of house/start AGMs. It's a long term project... but it will happen.
