I spoke with the parking patrol supervisor. He said he would notify all the officers not to issue tickets for that. I hope he is telling the truth on this one.
Unfortunately since my ticket is already entered I have to write a letter to the Parking Violations Bureau to contest this ticket...
Where would it say that on the ticket?
So I can no longer park for more than a few hours there without risking a ticket? There were other Leafs unplugged as well so I wonder if they got a ticket too...
I went to Florida for a week and parked in parking lot 1. Sometime during the week I was unplugged (which as far as I can tell was ok as I was fully charged by then).
I got back last night and found a parking ticket on my Leaf stating that I was in a charging station spot but not plugged in...
I don't remember it being valet parking. Which attendant would I leave my keys to so I can have them move the car after it is charged up. And how would I know where they moved it to - I don't want to be searching for the car when I get back.
It has been quite a while since I parked my Leaf at LAX.
I will be going to Florida this June and will park at LAX lot 1. Do I need any stickers to park there free (I did not need any 9 months ago)? If I am lucky enough to get a spot with a charging station is it ok to stay there for a week...
Tomorrow I will be taking a relatively long trip to a friends house and I planned on charging while I was there via a regual outdoors outlet. It is suppoed to rain tomorrow. How safe is it to charge in the rain?
Thanks! I do Irvine and back at least once a week (twice yesterday with a charge in between). But this is a bit further and I don't want to get stuck.
I go to Monterey Park every weekend as well and the Leaf does great on that trip. Also did Little Tokyo and back.
I got this on 5/29/2011...
4.6 Kwh system
Over 1000 miles driven on the Leaf in the last month.
Electric bill for home - 74 cents with $15.68 in credits with SCE for excess generation
I did not buy the panels. I leased them $0 down from Solar City. For the first year, my monthly lease is less then $100.
I think that is a good deal.
I have been to 2 of the meetings at the Nissan in Cerritos.
