I was considering a Leaf but it was available 200 miles from home. The Dealer said I could not tow the car home without voiding the warranty. Now there is one video on youtube that shows a Leaf undertow by a truck. What do you think? Nichols Rochester, NY

Has anyone tried a bank of car batteries, on constant recharge, run thru an inverter, to recharge a Leaf with 220v 60 amp? It would seem to serve the needs of some to set one of these up if they could not get access to a 220/60a circuit near their car. May work well with a solar based owner.

So the service manager at the dealership tells me the shop has to use insulated tools. What this; are the cars electric time bombs ready to electrocute an unsuspecting owner ?? I would expect to exercise some normal safety caution. I don't work under the hood with exposed battery terminals...
