    Official Tesla Model S thread

Wow, that's insane. Very lucky carjacker. And fortunately, no one was killed. Wondering, how it was stolen?

    2013/2014 Nissan Leaf Lease Information

----------- I've heard of money factor like .00051 and lower payments than you are quoted. I guess it depends on what part of the country you live and how popular the Leaf is and the sales numbers.

Charging Station etiquette? Volt owners hogging the juice!!

Note: Volt gets 45-55 mpg gas on trips up to 250-300 miles. I don't ever get lower than 42mpg on longer trips. (Speeds 60-65mph)

Charging Station etiquette? Volt owners hogging the juice!!

As owner of a Volt and a Leaf, I understand the need to run on electricity for efficiency and lower operations costs. I believe that newby Volt owners and EV owners need an education about charging etiquette. But only law enforcement with $ tickets/tow will fix the hogging of EV charging...

Production Nissan EsFlow to Debut at Tokyo 2013!

How about a "T" design battery pack for the ESFLOW ? Volt has only 4 passenger due to high center consol battery pack.(not that the ESFLOW needs more than 2 seats, or 2+2(baby seats like the older Porsche 911)

36000 club - out warranty club...

Leased car, 3/2011 for 4 years. (Wish I had done it for 3, since on board charger in 2013 is 6.6 kW, instead of my 3.3) Current mileage: 41,600. Lost one bar capacity at 37,300. Maintenance done by myself: Rotated tires every 5,000-7,500 miles, 3 cabin filters, replaced tires w/Ecopias on...

Production Nissan EsFlow to Debut at Tokyo 2013!

I am seriously hoping for an all EV ESFLOW, with a 150-200 mile range. Nissan needs a TESLA fighter ;) with active cooling on its motor and battery pack as iceing on the cake. And mke it with a QC port. In the meantime, I have the 2011 LEAF for daily trips and the 2014 VOLT for extended trips...

    Official Tesla Model S thread

While I'd like to be a 100% EV car driver, there are the 2-3 times a month I need range over 200 miles. A Model S would be welcome to our family. However, the price point is just too high on the Model S. So, until I can purchase a "certified used" cream puff Model S @ $45-50k or a Model E, I...

    FIAT 500e

@Tony- How was the 500e driving experience compared to the LEAF and the RAV4 EV? As a seasoned EV driver, you insight is quite valuable and appreciated :D

    XL1 261 MPG on 0.9 liters & 32 Mile EV Range

+1 After 2 1/2 years as an EV driver for 95% of our driving, even taking the Prius C for a road trip is painful

    XL1 261 MPG on 0.9 liters & 32 Mile EV Range

At $150k, I'm out. I've followed this vehicle for years. Too bad the price is sky high. I'll take a Model S instead please :D

Adding a Brusa charger under the hood for '11/'12s

Wow, this is an impressive mod. You guys rock  I haven't been on this forum for a while: quit job, retired, fixed-up/remodeled home, sold it, then moved to the Central Coast. This was more work than a regular full time job! (80-90 hr weeks for a few months) Actually, I'm...

    Post Your Battery Degradation Results

At 36,428 miles on our 2011 LEAF and we have lost our first capacity bar. We lived in San Carlos from 3/2011 when we leased the car to 5/2013. The Car was charged to 100% five days a week for a 72 mile round trip commute. As of 5/2013, we live on the Central Coast and the charging has dropped...

Pretty specific request: do you think I can make this trip?

I used to live in San Carlos. We have driven from San Carlos to Pescadero and back twice now. BUT....we had to charge up at the Pescadero Post office 120vt outlet for 2 hours to make the round trip. This was driving very conservatively. Unfortunately, your trip proposal is unrealistic with all...

Cross Country EV caravan - Ride the Future Tour

The group came by my house in Cambria today to charge up the 2013 LEAF and the 2 Zero motorcycles. Terry's Zero was highly modified with multiple on board chargers to juice up super fast. Really neat to meet and help out with the group's charging needs. Next stop will be Big Sur campground for...

Cross Country EV caravan - Ride the Future Tour

Glad to help. It's so frustrating trying to convince local businesses here on the Central Coast to install an EVSE charging dock. Businesses can't relate without EV ownership, per my experience. As one heads North from San Luis Obispo, public charging opportunities fall off a cliff to be non...

Cross Country EV caravan - Ride the Future Tour

Yes, I have been following them on Facebook. Recently, team member Duane contacted me to charge up at my Cambria home while they stay in San Simeon near Hearst Castle. The LEAF and at least one motorcycle will charge here. Additionally, I told them about Ragged Point Hotel and restaurant , plus...
