Numbers for September.
Sure.Stoaty said:I would love to see another pie chart showing BEV and PHEV on the same chart and their percentages of the total plugins sold.
KJD said:The dealers around here are discounting the LEAF pretty well, so I think that LEAF numbers will be over 3,000 again.
The i3 is now starting to get some decent pricing on lease deals so they should be able to increase sales over last month. This article shows a lease for 369 a month.

Thanks! Not bad at all!Statik said:We picked up the data a little ahead of the industry release today.
September - 2,881
Really? That in itself might be a record! Do you have three LEAFs right now, or have you wrecked two, or what?Statik said:...(sidenote: I picked up my 3rd this month - 2015 SV)

Nice quote in your article:Statik said:Nissan LEAF US Sales Continue To Surge In September

Is Toby Perry related to Mark Perry by any chance?InsideEVs said:“Nissan LEAF owners have turned into some of our best marketers, and they jump at any opportunity to share their enthusiasm with friends and family,” said Toby Perry, director, Nissan EV Marketing.
“Take National Drive Electric Week—a grassroots celebration of all things EV and the perfect platform for LEAF owners to showcase the benefits of going electric. After celebrating with EV owners in more than 130 cities across the country, we saw a significant increase in LEAF showroom visits with midweek traffic just as heavy as what we see on the weekends.”
The 2015 SL trim level lease is coming out quite high these days also. For some reason the published lease residuals are quite low for the SL. Also, you can get the i3 even cheaper if you do the OwnersChoice w/ Flex provided you have the income tax liability to take the entire $7500 federal tax credit.mkjayakumar said:The i3 is now starting to get some decent pricing on lease deals so they should be able to increase sales over last month. It is 369/month and $4K down payment and that comes to $480/month. Approx $200/month more than the Leaf.

The factory has been down for retooling and they have been filling lots of UK/Euro and China orders for the last several months. None of those sales are shown on that list.lorenfb said:jelloslug said:Now that the Tesla Factory is back up to full speed they are pumping out the Model S again to the tune of ~2500 units for September.
Isn't interesting that http://insideevs.com/monthly-plug-in-sales-scorecard/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; reports
a number that's the required run rate for Tesla to achieve 30K units for 2014 (Tesla's "guidance").
Usually they are on the low side as can be seen from the YTD thru 8/2014 data.

I don't even know what you are trying to say.lorenfb said:Yes, we know this! So now for 9/14 Insideevs reports exactly the worldwide run rate number required for
2014 "guidance" for JUST the US? We know based on Q1 & Q2 filings that worldwide YTD sales were 15K.
Reports indicate China Q3 total was about 2K, so where's the rest?
