2018 Leaf won't talk to Nissan Connect EV apps

Available on all trim levels as long as you have Sirius XM
Edit: appears not to be available on S trim level. Did not see it listed on window sticker, but did see it listed on SV and SL of 2018 model year window sticker.
 
Thank you for confirming. I had a feeling that was the case as I have an S and I get error messages that the app cannot connect to the car.
 
You might be lucky because the app is flaky.
I have appt today at dealer service dept because Nissan Tech support says that the TCU is not communicating back to computer
