Sounds like the Vegas trip. I'll be back Wednesday night from that. What questions do you need answered?
May not be for the conference, but let me know if you hear anything about the ECOtality free charger program coming to the Bay Area. I do not see anything about it on their website. You would think that it would be perfect fit (if funds are available) for this area. Thanks!

If I come across any information, I'll let you know! :D

Basically the standard stuff...

Will Sept preorders get delivered before years end (taxes)?
Buy out price of LEAF at end of 3 years if you lease.
Could some options or colors delay your LEAF (I want white, but could go silver).

Have a great great time.

+1 on delivery for Sept orders by year end for taxes. I'll even pay in full if they have a VIN!

THIS JUST IN!!!
I am very happy to officially announce that Campbell Nelson Nissan in Edmonds, Wa in the Seattle Metro area is committed to MSRP pricing on the Leaf without any additional markup for all pre-orders and reservations. Campbell Nelson will also be installing the commercial 440 volt charging stations that will be offered for free. The EV Sales Leader is Ray Ishak and the EV Sales Specialist is Dino Tukes.
Campbell Nelson can be reached at 425-774-2174 or on line at http://www.campbellnelsonnissan.com.
Ray and Dino are very knowledgeable with the product and the process. They will be monitoring the Dealer communications dashboard that will become operational at the end of this month. This online dashboard is where customers requests for a quote will come in and be able to lock in the price quote.
PS: orders from out of state are welcome as well.

Greate news. I'll add this in the front page. I also like the contact details you have here. I plan to put all this in the first post.

It is great that Leaf doesn't have the terrible headlines Volt is getting for markups over MSRP.

I've completed going through this thread and consolidating the dealers in the first post - there weren't as many as I thought there would be. If I've missed out any, post here.

I have emails from Avondale Nissan (west of Phoenix) and Riverside Nissan (Mesa, AZ-so east of Phoenix) that state they will be selling for MSRP.

Gavin

Avondale even started a thread here stating they will have no mark up.

Please add the contact details for Santa Barbara Nissan to the first post - they were the first dealer to join us, and have been VERY positive.

Done.

Pls give me the details you want me to add in your post.

BTW, what about other states - OR, TX for eg? OR is an ideal out of state source since it has no sales tax (do other states waive tax for out of state sales ?).

CA charges the tax when the vehicle is registered. I don't know about others.

All "out-of-state" purchases are exempt from tax with atleast ( 2 ) qualifying pieces of out-of-state residency and will not be registering the vehicle within said purchased state. This applies to Washington state...not sure anyone elses state.

All Mossy Nissan Locations in San Diego will be no more than MSRP. There won't be any dealer add-ons thrown on to the Price. I'll even step it up a notch for any member of this forum. I'll Discount any LEAF ordered through the Kearny Mesa Location or Poway off of the MSRP (however you configure it). Just identify yourself as a member to us and we'll honor that discount. If you intend to order from either of these two locations please contact me in advance so we can have it all set up in advance. The speed in which you actually confirm you quote that we will provide determines where you are in the line, and I want my clients to get them 1st. Leon Kamins General Manager Mossy Nissan Kearny Mesa and Poway. [email protected] http://www.mossyleaf.com http://www.leafpoway.com Please feel free to contact me directly, not a salesperson, but the GM. I might be able to hekp answer any other questions you may have. This offer expires 12-31-2010, but pm or email me any questions you might have so I can address them.

Is there anyway we can list all the dealers and info in a table format to minimize scrolling in the first page? basically, one dealer per row. just a thought.
