Just bought my 2015 Nissan Leaf S yesterday. After doing a lot of research and trying to determine if i'm the right fit for an EV car I decided to make the jump. My out the door cost on the Leaf was $20613.67. It also included the charging package.

I've already ordered a JuiceBox Pro for my Level 2 charger and hope to have it installed by next week.

Currently my commute is 20 miles round trip and at most I find myself doing 30 miles in a day. We have been using my wife's Mazda 3 for our driving in the evenings or long hauls since my Infiniti was up there on it's lease miles. Slowly I hope to use the Nissan for more of our evening trips etc as I learn more about the Leaf's range.

Congratulations!! That's a pretty good price for a S with QC ........and you picked an awesome EVSE (a fellow JuiceBox PRO owner here). :)

Since you brought it up I am curious about the breakdown of this price. Assuming taxes, title, and fees are about $1000 - $1500 you are saying that you paid just over $19k BEFORE the tax credit, so your net cost will be $11k and some change for a brand new 2015 S with charge package? If that is the case I shoulda waited a few months LOL.

Also, welcome to the forum. There's a lot of good info on here.

Thanks for the welcome! I just looked and it was $856.67 for tax, title and fees so the car itself was $19,747. So the net cost = $12,257 if you factor in only the vehicle purchase price. The 15's are steeply discounted right now with 0% financing. I got that price with 0% for 72 months.

Holy cow, I thought I got a deal at $15k with 0%... nice. Nice for you anyways, not so nice for my resale value LOL. Good thing I'm planning on driving this car forever.
