    Ex Leaf-owner club (Why we gave up on Nissan Leaf)

    Well now I'm officially in the Ex Leaf owner club. Not that I have anything bad to say about the Leaf, I loved mine, my driving needs have changed and it just didn't fit for me any longer. I wish the new owner lots of happy gas free miles. Hopefully I don't need to fire up the engine in the...

    [SOLD} 2011 Red SL with QC for sale - SF east bay area

    Well, I made the switch to a Volt. Too may dance competitions and work related trips therefore it's unfortunately time to sell the Leaf. This low VIN (232) beauty is listed it at an attractive price of $13,900 with upgraded EVSE. Tried to pick a price that is fair to both buyer and seller...

    Getting ready to sell my 2011 LEAF

    Thanks! I would love to keep it if I could, it's so fun to drive. They seem to still be selling ok in the Bay Area. I'm going to upgrade my membership here and post it as well as Bay Area Leaf group. Probably easier to sell to someone that already knows about the car then on Ebay. Did the...

    Getting ready to sell my 2011 LEAF

    Thanks for the suggestion! It might be worth a trip to Fairfield to check it out. Will need to find a QC just in case they don't buy it for the trip back to Pleasanton.

    Getting ready to sell my 2011 LEAF

    Well it's official, I pickup my Volt on Saturday. Not trading in the LEAF but will put it up for sale this weekend at a decent price (approx $14k) and probably keep driving it until the green stickers come or when it's sold, whatever comes first :) . Since I'm not trading it I will let the...

    Getting ready to sell my 2011 LEAF

    Well looks like a volt is in my future. Going to see one on Saturday and hopefully bring it home. If so I'll update my listing for my LEAF in the for sale section. Mixed emotions, one of the first to get the car, and I have enjoyed every EV mile. Hopefully I can keep it going with the Volt. I...

    Getting ready to sell my 2011 LEAF

    No thanks. Dealer offered a little over $12k. I rather the car go direct to someone then get marked up by a dealer if possible. And yes, a plug-in hybrid. Probably will go with a Volt. I should still be able to avoid the gas station most weeks.

    Getting ready to sell my 2011 LEAF

    Well, it's been a great ride. Literally :D , but with my commute and extra miles I need to drive on occasion, I need to move on to a plug-in hybrid before the green stickers are out. Looking to see how the market is and what would be a good deal for both buyer and seller. It's a red 2011 SL...

    Post Your Battery Degradation Results

    Lost my first bar at 29,797 miles and 29 months of driving. I charged for the first year at 100% until my work installed an L2, been 80% ever since. 3 fast charges and it's never seen turtle.

    If you watch the safety video they have a LEAF T-Bone the C-1. Are they trying to tell us something? http://litmotors.com/lit-motors-unveils-concept-all-electric-fully-enclosed-motorcycle/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
