Maybe not. I'm not sure if they're putting better tires on the cars now but the tires on my 2011 were very poor quality. I had to replace two of them almost two years in. The other two are pretty close to bald but I'm turning the car in today or tomorrow.

yeah, I kinda agree with pkulak on that. Maybe just the CMAX hybrid would work better for your wife, adric22, since she has a 40-mile commute and she likes to drive fast. But if she can charge at work, the Energi could work. But I'll let you know how things go!

asimba2, it's not actually 0 down (although it is for the consumer), it's $7500 down since the leasing company takes the tax credit. So they're using that money to pay for all that stuff.

Yes. I'm still considering the Volt. I need to go test drive one. I test drove a Prius last weekend (they didn't have any plug-ins on the lot) and it was meh. Thanks everyone for the input! I really liked the Energi so it's at the top of my list right now.
