Trust me, Florida is in no danger of running out of people any time soon. This is a natural evolutionary process that kicks in when an area starts to get overpopulated. The weaker ones die off and the stronger go on.
Evolution and/or science do not seem to be part of LTFT's core beliefs. So why is it here? Seems to be window dressing for what follows.

Population:
Consider that Hong Kong has a population density of 18,492 people per square mile, 7140 per square km
Consider that Florida has a population density of 353 people per square mile, 136 per square km

Hong Kong has less than one death per million, with a population density 52 times larger.

Florida's death rate is 195 per million so far.

So this isn't a people overpopulation problem. Hong Kong is far more populated. Another bit of window dressing.

So what is left?

"The weaker ones die off and the stronger go on."

Ah, the key part. Now where did I see that before???
I could say. Not yet. Give LTFT a chance to say more.

Anti-mask activists in Florida took their campaign over the weekend to a grilled cheese bar whose owner said she would not require customers to wear masks, even as the state reported more than 15,000 new cases in just 24 hours on Sunday
Has a video that's a bit over 2 minutes long.

Was at Target last night and in my county, masks are mandated when indoors out in public. One guy had his mask so far down, his nose was completely exposed.

I guess it's about the same (in effect) as those who have it slightly down where both nostrils are exposed. I've seen Safeway employees do this sometimes.

Sigh...

Oh great...

The most outrageous lies are the ones about Covid 19. Everyone is lying. The CDC, Media, Democrats, our Doctors, not all but most ,that we are told to trust. I think it's all about the election and keeping the economy from coming back, which is about the election. I'm sick of it.

30-year-old dies after attending 'COVID party' thinking virus was a 'hoax'

The mask likely had no chance of stopping him from catching the trumpvirus.
When I'm weedeating and mowing around my rentals an N95 mask stops some of the dust. The little BS masks most people use do nothing to stop dust or trumpvirus from getting to them.

Anyone who thinks trumpvirus is a hoax is probably a flat earth, antivaxxer, young earth/creationist or some combination.

Cloth masks stop only a fraction of incoming virus. Your odds are better, but not dramatically so.

Cloth masks stop a high fraction of outgoing virus. Everyone else's odds are dramatically better, should you be infected. Many infections are silent, with no symptoms or such mild symptoms people don't really notice.

If you don't care about anyone else, don't wear a mask.

I didn't comment on masks stopping the spread of trumpvirus.

I don't pretend to control other people.
I wear a mask to protect masked crusaders from becoming a victim of self defense.

So the fact that the mask doesn't protect from the trumpvirus getting you is still completely accurate.

So now we learn there's been widespread falsification of testing results for political purposes. Not surprising.

Yeah, a few people die from it (well OK a lot of people die from it in poorly run blue states/cities), but it's time to end this charade of an overreaction.

If you're worried about getting sick stay in your house, keep your nose out of everyone else's business and you'll be just fine.

Let's see. In Florida
https://www.foxnews.com/health/florida-record-coronavirus-death-hospitals-icu-full
"As of Wednesday morning, the agency reported that 54 hospitals with adult intensive care units were at full capacity.

Statewide, officials reported a 17 percent availability of adult ICU capacity."

In AZ:
https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/local/arizona-health/2020/07/14/arizona-coronavirus-update-hospital-beds-fill-up-4-273-new-cases/5434525002/
"Arizona reports 4,273 new COVID-19 cases, sets new records for hospital beds in use
...
Tuesday's dashboard shows 85% of current inpatient beds and 88% of ICU beds were in use, which includes people being treated for COVID-19 and other patients. "

In TX:
https://www.texastribune.org/2020/07/14/texas-hospitals-coronavirus/
"Texas hospitals are running out of drugs, beds, ventilators and even staff

Many Texas hospitals are no longer accepting transfer patients in order to maintain space for a surge that’s expected to come. In some parts of the state, it’s already here."

Yet you dismissed social distancing:

social distancing efforts, no stay at home orders, no closing of schools, prohibition of visiting nursing homes, no closing of non-essential businesses, no limits on how size of gatherings + people in stores, etc.
There is no scientific evidence those actions had any effect on the spread of he virus. We don't have a "control world" where none of that was done to compare the outcomes, so it's all anecdotal.
Notice what's happened as things opened up and also more people flaunted rules?

I'm not sure, but I think it got the One Finger Salute from a guy driving a pickup truck this evening, apparently because I now wear my mask on my bike rides until I'm out of the suburb. I don't think, once again, that I saw another mask. New York may be winning so far* but it isn't with the help of most of our non-urban population...

* Albany just saw a spike. Like others it seems to be related to the last holiday.

Our troll is really having issues with reality. Saying that this is only a problem in poorly run blue states. The last time I checked Florida, Texas, Georgia, AZ, et al are red states.

He is having issues with reality and being just plain stupid.

He's playing games and going by death totals to take advantage of this brief window before these new cases begin to translate to deaths.

Last week, the daughter of county commissioner Paul Waldron posted the news to Facebook that her father was critically ill after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

Thousands of people die every day, it's a big country. A lot of those deaths aren't even related to the virus, providers just code them that way for the uninsured so they will get paid.
