I think that's going to vary station-by-station. Some employers will provide them free to employees while others won't. Some municipalities will have them free (e.g. San Rafael) while others (e.g. Los Altos Hills) won't. That's true already. When you throw in all the other providers, e.g. Nissan, transportation districts, hospitals, ferry districts, utilities, etc. I suspect the practice will be all over the map, figuratively and literally. I think the NRG deal will provide a free service for a period of time before reverting to paid, but I may be mistaken on that. I think they are still negotiating the details.
