Has this happened to anyone? It's inside the seat, slipped down in there while I was driving. Anyway to get it out easy? My hands don't fit.

Have you made sure it didn't fall through and is now under, beside, or behind the seat?
I really can't see where it would end up inside the seat.

Do you mean alongside your seat in between the console and seat? Or is it in the crack between the upper and lower part of the seat?

There's a crack, but it popped out today thank goodness. So strange..

Yes I've lost my Leaf key fob with my house key attached in the "abyss" between the seat and the center console. Yes it's a PITA to get it back out.

If you look in the bargain bin at an auto parts or hardware store, you should be able to find a 3' long "grabber" with extendable claws. I suggest you avoid the kind with a strong magnet, though.

My sister gave me a set of Catch Caddy's. The fit well and have come in handy.

There is also the Drop Stop, which looks interesting.

My house key is on a separate key ring. My key fob never leaves my pocket, unless absolutely necessary. I have one of these attached to the key in the fob.

The seats are fairly easy to remove, if it comes to that. 4 bolts. I've done this on both our LEAFs to make it easier to install seat covers. Just make sure to re-torque the bolts properly when re-installing.
