Reservations first will reopen in the launch states of Arizona, California, Hawaii, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Washington. Individuals who already have registered on the Nissan LEAF website – a group that now totals 340,000 potential owners – will be given the first opportunity to reserve a spot in line to purchase a Nissan LEAF.

More markets will follow, with market availability in the southeastern United States (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland, South Carolina, and Virginia) this fall, and nationwide ordering in 2012.

Gosh, the rest of the old south doesn't start getting vehicles until the fall? Later than I thought (I thought it was going to be this summer at some point).

Guess that means the rest of the country won't start getting them until the very end of the year, presumably.

more like rest of the south (tier 2) orders cars in the fall, not get them ORDER THEM

that ,means tier 2 reservation holders get cars by april or may 2012 maybe?

rest of the USA can order in april or may 2012 to get a car by maybe fall 2012
