Hello all!

I am looking to swap out the 12 Battery with a Battery Tender Lithium. The only issue I see is that
the Battery Tender Lithium can only take a charge of 10A.

Has anyone done this type of swap?

Tried to do a search, but came up with too many false hits.

Thanks!!

This is the most current thread, but there is a much older one too:

What happens above 10A? If a fuse blows (I doubt it!), then that is bad. If the charger simply limits the current to 10A, then that should work fine.

Hopefully it can be discharged much faster than 10A...

Nissan under charges the battery but when it does charge the inverter puts out over one hundred amps! If your battery plates say ten amps max then that battery is in trouble!

Not if there is a current-limiting circuit in the little battery.
