Sigs are fully loaded 90s.
If you max it out, you get a bit north of 140k.

Tesla Motors Inc. filed a federal lawsuit against a German auto parts maker for allegedly misrepresenting its ability to design the signature “falcon wing” doors on its Model X electric sport-utility vehicle, leading to a last-minute change to a new supplier that caused delays...
In May 2015, Tesla ditched that company’s design and built an electromechanical door system and hired a new supplier, according to the lawsuit...
He said on several occasions over the past two years that the doors were a major part of the delay. I don't remember for sure, but I think JB may have also said as much. IMO, the doors are an example of EM's hubris coming back to bite him; he seems to have been the only person who pushed for them, or thought them necessary or desirable (at least in the early stages). Once they were publicly announced, some customers thought they were 'cool' and wanted them, but I wonder how they'll feel when the IMO inevitable malfunctions start occurring with frequency, especially in bad weather.LTLFTcomposite said:I thought EM said the doors were no big deal. Did he misrepresent the challenge and risks that presented?

Interesting choice of term.
Rather than "update", a more accurate term would be a wild opinion piece, written by a TSLA short, based upon speculation, 2nd hand information, and comments from other TSLA shorts.

Different now tho.GRA said:Pretty much as expected, lots of QC issues with the early Model X. See http://www.teslamotorsclub.com/showthread.php/59839-Post-Initial-Problems-with-the-Model-X

And the good news, [my Delivery Specialist] service people said my car was the most flawless they've seen so far.

Every indication is that we've moved into a new phase of higher production, MUCH higher quality vehicles.

Car is fantastic. It has exceeded my high expectations.
Congrats. Looks great. The tint on the side windows looks substantial. Is that factory or added with the XPEL etc?scottf200 said:...Car is fantastic. It has exceeded my high expectations.

It is darker depending on the light. Here is it indoors when we picked it up.redLEAF said:<snip> -- the blue color on your X is quite nice; prefer a bit darker (have seen a few Tesla S sedans in what looks like a 'midnight' shade of blue) but this one is a winner as well.<snip>
That's quite a difference. Did you choose the color based on how it appeared with natural or artificial lighting?scottf200 said:It is darker depending on the light. I saw both. It seems like most often it is between those two. The natural light above was grey clouds so it looks different in sunlight as well. I liked them all but probably lean toward a the dark ones.GRA said:That's quite a difference.
