I'm pretty sure this is a resource that many have used. Its a nice way to give back.

Except that this is the worst funding site I've seen. Their fees are extremely high and the payment method is annoying. But it was a nice idea that someone had; to help pay back for all the effort that goes into maintaining the site.

A couple of neat animations, showing the growth of the SC network. First, worldwide by day - go to

http://supercharge.info/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

click on 'Map Options' (upper left), then 'Way Back' to show the daily growth of SCs worldwide. 'Faster' and 'Slower' buttons should be obvious.

For U.S. SC growth by month, see: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10203028828553931&set=vb.1601529192&type=3&theater" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

As of 2/18/15, Winnemucca, NV with 4 stalls is listed and mapped. Total U.S. SCs now 40/165/1,095.

It's now possible for S60s to drive from the Bay Area to SLC using only SCs. Once either Lake Point or SLC, UT come on line, it will be possible to drive all the way to the middle of Missouri, ditto. Two more SCs on I-70 in Missouri, and you will be able to go coast to coast via SC without the detour into Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin. One more after that, in Effingham, IL, and you can take I-70 all the rest of the way, not having to detour up to Chicago.

End of February update: Tesla officially opened 13 U.S. SCs in February, which added to the 12 (map dots, 12 + 1 dual site plus one site not shown until Feb.) from January makes 25 this year or 12.5/month, just over the 12.25/month they need to average for the year to reach their year-end forecast. The TMC forum has recently changed its organization (not for the better IMO), and it's not clear to me yet if new SC notifications will be as easy to find as they have been.

As of 3/4/15, Coeur d'Alene, ID with 6 stalls is listed and mapped. Total U.S. SCs now 41/170/1,129.

^ That Salt Lake City one is a big deal for me. I do wish they had placed one in Provo though, so I could easily get directly from Green River to Provo and skip the much longer I-70 to I-15 side trip. The direct route — US 6 via Price — for Green River to SLC is 180 miles over a 7477 foot pass. Not really practical without some L2 charging enroute.

Now to finish out southern Idaho and eastern Oregon. Not that it really matters for me until the Model III hits the market.

Rumor has it that Price will happen.

I have also talked to one 85 owner that has already done Green River to SLC via 6 without problem.
