I had my blink EVSE installation this morning by Sunwest Electric of Anaheim. It was a 2 man team and the installation took about 90 minutes. Their were very efficient and professional. The blink was installed adjacent to my electrical panel. Power to the house was shut off for about 20 minutes...

It seems like the option to change color is removed about a month before a vehicle is manufactured in Oppama. Then it takes about 6-8 weeks until it arrives at the dealership. Your change is probably related to uncertainty regarding production volume once Oppama resumes operations.

I don't think efficiency rankings are the main purpose of CARWINGS. It's a basic telematic system that allows owners to remotely: -check state of battery charge -start charging -check when battery charge will complete -see estimated driving range -turn on or off the climate control system...

That makes sense. Also, the manufacturer would probably want cars delivered without any "defects." There is a law that was passed and signed by the president in December called the Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Act of 2010. There are no regs written yet, however.
