Are you sure its iimotors.com? On the website they have 0 LEAFs. http://www.iimotors.com/vehicles?SearchString=leaf or http://www.iimotors.com/vehicles?Make=Nissan

This is one of the S's he has left: http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=27612&endYear=2016&modelCode1=LEAF&showcaseOwnerId=68420231&startYear=1981&makeCode1=NISSAN&searchRadius=25&showcaseListingId=403209533&mmt=%5BNISSAN%5BLEAF%5B%5D%5D%5B%5D%5D&listingId=400324197&Log=0

I like the metallic gray but not crazy about the S trim. But this one looked like it was brand new. A good deal at $8890, I think.

I know, I know. The AutoTrader logo says "IMOTORS". The sign on the website says "iimotors". I have no idea why. Did I mention he is Asian?

Ok thanks. I see they have some LEAFs listed on auto trader but not their own site. I've seen some S with Quick Charge, but I don't think I could handle not having B mode. Thats the only driving mode I use.

You drive in B mode all of the time?

Yes. I drive in B mode ALL the time. I wish it had stronger regen like the i3 or Tesla Model S.

I've been experimenting with this and now I like to drive in B mode all the time too. At first it felt really restrictive, which was why I was surprised. Plus I was used to B mode in the Prius, which doesn't let up when you apply the accelerator. And the Prius manual even says not to drive in B mode continuously.

Right now I tend to drive in B mode with Eco on most of the time.

Interesting that just a few weeks ago just prior to going on the used car lot that per CarFax: "Body computer/module reprogrammed Computer reprogrammed"

Would it be possible the battery bars were reset to 12 bars with the reprogrammed?

Plus the fine print on the web site states; "Price excludes administrative, origination, documentary, procurement and/or other administrative fee."

I would like to run a LeafSpy before buying this car.

That could be one or all of the recall services, remember. The car doesn't have Premium Package listed, though.

The Carfax on my 2013 SV bought from the same dealer had the exact same line. Mine does have the premium package. But my battery is 99% SOH according to LeafSpy.

I will say that the dealer there will hand you the keys and let you go look at the car without hindrance. You would have no issues hooking of LeafSpy. Unfortunately I didn't have an OBDII adapter when I bought mine, I just got lucky.

Edit: here is the full line from my carfax which actually occurred last year while it was still under lease of the original driver.

Battery/charging system checked Tires rotated
Wiper(s) replaced
Body computer/module reprogrammed Computer reprogrammed

My guess is this is some sort of recall procedure.

I purchased a 2013 SL from this dealer in April. 13K miles with no premium package. Like new condition. $13,999 + taxes was $15K out the door. I've driven it for 6K miles since then with no issues. Steve is indeed a man of few words but actually pretty hilarious if you get to know him. Their listed prices are usually non-negotiable as they are already quite low.

The usually only advertise on autotrader mainly as they get more views per dollar spent there compared to their own website and the other known sites.

I wanted to bring this thread back up. Glad to know that there are some other Raleigh-Durham LEAFers on this site! For you locals, I would love to know how are your LEAFs treating you lately? :)
Any expensive maintenances? any dealers to watch out for when it comes to LEAFs?

I still check the local sites and CarGurus for used Leafs for sale, but there really aren't that many and really not great deals, IMO. Most 2012s are around $9k or so, but I can't tell what the battery condition is by the posted photos. Most 2013s are a bit higher (saw an SL for $14k), but then most of them are at Impex in Greensboro which is further than I would want to drive on a used LEAF's range.

New ones are still showing in the high $ 20s to mid $ 30ks and with the depreciation on new models, that's out of the question for me, financially.

I got my 2013 SV in southern MA for $12,700 last October with ~16k miles with QC and LED lights. It was at 12 bars at the time, but dropped to 11 shortly thereafter, holding steady at 82-85% since then (we'll see how the summer does for it). Had been leased in Georgia, so I surmise the heat had an impact and that the driver probably never bothered with the "Long Life Mode."

Just know that most used car dealerships have NO CLUE what an EV is. One guy we visited spent about 25 minutes telling us that the "first EV was the Prius and he didn't like the Prius as much as the Leaf."

Maintenance for me has been just tires and a recall reprogramming (plus I lost a key down a storm drain -- don't do that, they scam you out of $300).

Snow performance is pretty abysmal but it does have a handy light to tell you that it's slipping sideways and it's very good at doing donuts in an abandoned parking lot in the snow if you disable traction control.

It _looks_ like many of the 2013s that came off lease have probably been sold already. There seem to be a lot in the area right now judging by Craigslist, but mostly 2012 and 2015. Prices continue to fall like stones out of a crumbling soviet union (my car is down $3k for 10k miles over 11 months, wondering when it will near golf cart prices).
