In (the other) Washington you have to fill out an application. If they
don't like it, or it's taken, they deny the application and refund your
fee.

The story behind the F Opec plate is pretty funny. NJ DMV challenged the plate asking for an explanation and the owner set up a phony website claiming it was his family's jewlery store which only does business by appointment.

We have ordered up Massachusetts vanity plate "LEAFY" for our upcoming LEAF. Our second choice available option was "ZERO".

My wife will drive the car for the most part so we are creating an ElectraWoman "EW" logo sticker for the car based on the Sid and Marty Krofft 1970's classic show. Although I'll admit that her Electracar doesn't look too much like the LEAF.
