Sorry to hear about this, Fabio, this is very sad news indeed. I was really hoping that here in NorCal we'll avoid these degradation. Does your Leaf spend most of it's time in the Peninsula, or do you often park the car in the warmer East Bay and South Bay? My car is nearing the 16k mark and...
Last year when I bought the Leaf, I lived in an apartment with a Carport. I charged L1 exclusively for exactly 12 months and averaged about 45 miles per day. I only charged to 80%, and if I needed more I go to the L2 charging in downtown Palo Alto to get that extra juice.
Worked very well for...
I'm almost certain you will have to pay back a pro-rated portion of your rebate, based on a 36 month period. they are very nice, but they will want a check :?
Did you end up 370 miles from your starting point? if not, then the 370 miles doesn't really mean much. The title of discussion is "Leaf Coast to Coast".
There are cyclist that can do it in 1/2 the time.
Using Leaf to go long distance is always a funny proposition. I'm by no means a good cyclist, but even I've done 130 miles in a day once: which is doubling what the Leaf can do on L1 charge and equaling what the Leaf can do on L2 charge.
Thanks for all the tips. My main issue is that the Garage that I house my Leaf is about 0.8miles away, so it's not that trivial for me to walk over just to plug the car in. I'd like to keep the EVSE plugged in so I can start the charging remotely the day before I arrive so I can have a fully...
I've tried that. The problem is that unless the previous person reported the issue, Blink may not realize that functionality is compromised.
BlinkMAP has showed that both Belmont and San Ramon station are "In Use" continuously the past week (I've checked periodically even at very odd hours)...
I had the same issue on a week day 2 months ago at the VW Blink. Lost the last bar (but not VLBW) when I arrived, but found the left side connector broke and the right side having software issue. Called blink and they said someone will have to come out to reset.
The sad thing was, there...
