2012 Leaf: Phone calls cut off at 15 minutes?

Just today I was in my parked Leaf making a phone call using the in-car Bluetooth (basically using the car as a stationary phone booth). After precisely 15 minutes and zero seconds the call was cut off. I had plenty of bars. Is that an intentional thing that the Leaf Bluetooth does or was it just a coincidence?

What mode, Ready, On, or Aux? As I recall if not in ready there are cut-offs. I remember
having to open the door to get lights to come back on. I prefer using the LEAF for
phone conversations, but can not remember having one that long.

I'm pretty sure it was on in Park. I tried it again and it didn't happen. So, I'm not sure what went down. Unless it reproduces, I guess I'll just declare it oddly precise sunspot activity.
