Even if someone just stays home, they could still get infected by people coming and going (e.g. others in household, caretakers, nurses, workers, etc.) and die.

Yep. When Bolsonaro "caught" COVID-19 (apparently, he's handled it very badly in his country), many suspected it was also fake news. He could "recover" from it and say "see? No big deal. It's like a "little flu"."

Coronavirus cases vary a lot. A significant fraction of positive tests never have symptoms.
Perhaps half get mild symptoms: cold like, flu like or allergy like. Low grade fever.

At Trump's age, being obese and out of shape, even with some undisclosed health conditions, he still has a better than even chance of nothing worse.

Someone I know had a "moderate" case. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

Significant physical and mental impairment are possible, odds seem to be higher than death. At least short term, long term isn't known yet.

Perhaps 10% of men in Trump's age and weight, if otherwise healthy, die.

This has speculation that Hope Hicks was the first actual case in the outbreak. I've seen no evidence to convince me that is the case. She was the first reported case... but with a delay of 2 to 10 days between exposure and positive test results, the first to test positive might not be the first actual case.

Let's say trump is in the 75 to 84 age range for worst case scenario:
30.5% are hospitalized
10.5% go to the ICU
4.3% go in the ground

It appears that being president for 1 term ages you up to 10 years.
