With your eMonitor running at 120v and 240v, and the same EVSE running at both voltages, you should be in a good position to confirm or rebut the claims DaveinOlyWA has been making about differences in charging efficiency between 120v and 240v. He says he used to see 75% efficiency at 120v by comparing wall kWh to miles divided by dash miles/kWh. He now sees about 82% doing the same thing (with different equipment at a different time of year) at 240v.arnolddeleon said:I just tested it at 120V and 240V and it works great! I have an eMonitor system (http://www.powerhousedynamics.com/) so I can see how much power individual circuits were pulling and I confirmed that at 240V it pulled the same amount of power as the Blink charger (not that there was any doubt). At 120V the car was pulling about 1460 Watts.
I sure would like to see some definitive measurements on this, and yours would be about as comparable at possible.
