For those who have VINs -- Did you order Kick Plates?

I have Kickplates.

Kickplates are installed at the port (not a the factory), so they should not affect the delivery time.

Kick plates would affect delivery time if they were in short supply. That was the supposition I was testing. However, it proved not to be the case.

Yes, kickplates ordered. 7 days email on March 11, still no LEAF - dashboard changed late last night from Week of March 31 to March 23. Vin 604

This has probably been mentioned before, but kick plates are purely aesthetic. You lose two perfectly functional plastic kickplates to get the holographic ones. If you're on a budget, they seem like very low priority to me.

But if you like bling, they are pretty much your only choice, except for the hideous eco package, or whatever it is called.

There's not even a tailpipe to chrome tip. It will be fun to see three years from now what mods are available. Huge solar wing? Eh, maybe not.
