I have been speaking face to face with at least one Leaf customer every day. Interest here is huge.
Just got done talking to an Architect with questions about home requirements for charging.

Showed him mynissanleaf first thing, great resource.

Be careful not to lose your place in line if I am outside of your geographical boundary...this we haven't learned of yet.
I am hoping to glean some information off the list tomorrow...We do have customers interested in purchasing at SB Nissan
that I believe will be outside the zone, that is if they enforce such rules, which it appears they will.

We are all in this together, this is going to go down the way Nissan wants it to, not the consumers or the dealerships.
Please try to help the ignorant ones, email may be more effective than a visit. In the showroom it's always a TODAY thing,
ans Leaf aint gonna happen til x-mas...ho ho ho.

Well it's rock and hard place...the way the software is setup you can only have one preferred dealer. So, OK, I've changed it back the way it was....with the dealer down the street being my preferred one and allowing you guys to make contact.

I hope geographical boundary is not the closest dealer but a wider area ...

So far I do not see evidence of this...mwalsh shows up on my list and he's probably more than 100 miles away.

Closer to a dozen on the map between Glendale and Santa Barbara...but not all functioning of course.

Toughest part is the 10 mile gap between Carpinteria and Ventura. I am sure a station is planned for either
La Conchita or Seacliff Exit.

Does anyone here have a easy link to the Google map of stations in California...there's 3 or 4 in between.

If it ends up that we can work together, I'm not even going to try and drive it home...AAA can bring it back for me. Or maybe I'll drive part-way and having them tow it the rest (since the AAA free tow under my membership is 100 miles).

May be you can offer "home delivery"

ev projects shows none now : http://www.theevproject.com/charging-maps.php

But, there are plenty here : http://www.evchargermaps.com/?Address=Los%20Angeles&Want=SPI%20LPI%20AVC%20OC&Zoom=9

Hey...so who's in charge of mapping around here?

A guy from the EVMini crew showed me a better map.
I know we have an operational charging station at CostCo and
another at a downtown parking structure, maybe a third at least at the county admin. building.

Different isn't always better. The link above shows a charging station at Saturn dealership in Oceanside. I stopped by there 2 years ago and the charger was broken, and a few months ago, the dealer closed completely. Building empty. I looked for the charging station this morning and it's completely gone. If you relied on that map, you'd think the only charging station in Oceanside was available when it's not. Can you say "stranded"?

We need a proactive way of keeping these maps updated.

It is a community effort. Anyone can update the map - if you click on a charget, you can see the comments.

I know. I submitted a comment saying the charger was MIA and the dealership was closed....but nothing is listed on the site. Maybe the comments are moderated or something to prevent spam? (shrug)
