hill,
Maybe your wife has questions (while you work).
She is quite welcome, and HTB is easy to find:

N on I-5 and off at 17th St. exit, go east about 3 blocks
and HTB is on a corner on your right.

"hill" and his wife made it.
So, along with 4 "old timers", we had 6 show up - a good group.

Rates, Tariffs, and EVSE install options were most discussed,
and we all had fun finding out about the "hemp farm and brothel". :D
(teasing one person about big electrical bills)

Thanks, everybody, for showing up.

Other than myself and "Kat", are there any others
interested in "Gathering 3b" next Saturday morning, the 20th of Nov.?

I will still come the 20th, even if just Gary and me. I have questions and missed being there today!

Almost midnight here in Nashville right now ... I'd doubt our 737's pilot will be using the after burners tomorrow. Notwithstanding super sonic speeds, we'll be doing good to touch down at John Wayne before sunset. We'll shoot for the next one!

.

Gathering 3b was a smaller group, but it was easier to ask questions.

How to go down long grades?
What is Regen really?
How much is too much QC charging?
How much is too much L2 charging?
Will the LEAF protect its battery from damage?
When sombody else uses your LEAF, what do you need to tell them?

So, all very good questions, and a very nice "Gathering". Thanks.

Gathering #4 (last of 2010):

I am thinking that the 2nd Saturday of the month (the 11th of December)
would be good, staying away from the weekends around the Holidays.

Other suggestions?
Who can (might) make it?

I was kind of mad at myself for missing the last one. I knew it was coming up, but I lost track of the exact date, time, and place. By the time I finally found the information, my window had closed because of other commitments. I probably could have forced the issue, but I still would have been there late, so I finally let it pass.

Maybe I can do better this time. I'm going to put the date on my calendar now. I do need the address again though.
