There was a report over the weekend that the tow package might only be available in EU.GaleHawkins said:Since the Model Y now has it as well as a factory tow package per the manual that makes me more excited about owning a Tesla.

Alameda County has declared Tesla an “essential business” that is allowed to remain in operation, according to a county spokesman.

Yeah... I dunno. Too big to fail? Tesla would probably fail if its Fremont plant were shut down for an extended period of time.nlspace said:Maybe essential in terms of keeping the financial markets afloat versus essential for people hunkered down at home i.e. massive stashes of toilet paper.
This morning Jim Cramer said Boeing was too big to fail (stock market is taking them down); but TSLA has a larger market cap than BA. Should TSLA be allowed to fail? Closing the factory would probably have that effect. Could be said for any company though.
Perhaps. If so, will have lots of company... There are a lot of companies with a poor cash balance, weeks or even days. Tesla has cash for months.cwerdna said:Yeah... I dunno. Too big to fail? Tesla would probably fail if its Fremont plant were shut down for an extended period of time.
