It is purely EV for propulsion. No fossil fuels to drive down the road no matter how far you go (still limited by battery levels for EV range but it isn't a hybrid in terms of propulsion).
But it has 3 cabin heater systems that work automatically from one thermostat. If the temps are low enough it burns fuel to heat the cabin.
In addition to the 3 cabin heater systems it has heated seats. So you'd have to be somewhere extremely cold to care about the extra heating systems.

I could imagine the Leaf and Prius getting a mini fuel heater like this as part of a cold weather package someday.
