Hello everyone! I am new to the leaf community and looking to buy this leaf! I spent multiple hours at the dealership and i'm waiting until the 5th to move forward. Any opinions regarding price? Anything I should be concerned about? I included all the details I got while I was at the dealership. I tried to use LeafSpy to make sure there was no BMS reset but I really could not figure it out! The photos show the miles before and after an 11 mile test drive then an added range after maybe 10 minutes of charging. (The battery error appeared after the vehicle stopped charging because the dealer blew a fuse)

Guys I'm apparently very dumb and need advice please give me your worst

Hello.. Were you able to capture a Leafspy Screenshot like this?

JUST PERFECT.jpg

This will tell you (imo) the critical info you would need to make an informed purchase.. If you pulled the trigger already I wish you the best of luck!

I'm concerned that if I inform them I'm making plans to pay cash, they'll quote me a higher wide variety due to the fact they make much less money off a cash purchase than they could with a loan. Is this some thing that clearly takes place or am I just being paranoid?

Just ask the dealer for a cash price and a price with a loan. You can always pay off the loan early if the price is better with a loan.

Yes, some dealers do charge more if you pay cash. When I purchased my 2021 Leaf the dealer gave me $1500 off if I finance through them, but they made it known. It was not some type of hidden trick. They sell your loan for a higher rate than the lender quoted them and will get a bit of money back from the lender. Like mentioned before, just finance it and pay it off right away.

11 bars and only maybe 60 mile range? Something fishy here. My 9 bar Leaf shows over 70 miles range. I can imagine someone reset the bars. Shouldn't an 11 bar car go at least 90 miles?

The range estimator will show a low estimated range if the car was last driven at low efficiency. While a Leaf driven on a fixed route by a consistent driver will show a reasonably consistent, even accurate available range, that is uncommon enough to make the "Guess O Meter" an unreliable instrument.
