So my iPod Touch got stolen yesterday in the East Austin ghetto out of my friend's car by a scumbag smack junkie. Now, I realize that this P.O.S. moron may not be able to figure things out due to my iPod being in Russian & the Nissan Leaf app in the middle of a lot of other apps, but I still want to change my ID & password out of an abundance of caution.

Do you guys know how to do it? I've looked for a button somewhere, but couldn't find it. Could it be in a "Settings" option somewhere?

Thanks in advance! Wish I didn't have to post this....

That sucks. But, realistically, what's the worst that the guy can do (assuming he can find the app and can figure out what it's for), turn on your climate control without you knowing it? 0.5 x :)

Changing your account ID is harder than just changing your password.

There is your Customer account at NissanUSA, and a Carwings "account" for this particular car (VIN).

You can create a new Nissan account, but I suspect that you will need to "delete" the VIN from the old account, and then "assign" the VIN to the new account.

Then, put the new "PIN and password" into your car.

Good luck, you might have to get Nissan Customer Service involved to make it all work again with Carwings.

Getting them to invertigate the process FIRST might save some grief.

I'm having a problem with logging into my Carwings also, but I have upgraded my phone and now it does't seem to work at all. I know my login for this site and tried multiple times to use it, but failed. I don't really follow what the idea of clicking on "forgot my password" here, is there a connection? Do I have to delete the app and re-install it? This is another poor example of this system...

I don't have 'Names and Passwords' enabled on my current iPhone 6, but don't remember having it turned on with the previous 5s. The keyrings show nothing.

Thanks
