I've heard of a few of these older paddle chargers being around -- such as at the Irvine Transit Center, I believe. Are there still any cars rolling that use those? Is it time to remove/replace them?

Rav4EVs use the small paddles I believe.
 
And some mistakenly call the Avcons "paddle chargers" as well. Which causes confusion as it does not account for the conductive versus inductive (Rav4EV, S10) styles. The conductive style (Avcon) charging station is likely to be on the J-1772 upgrade list ... and that's definitely something LEAF drivers want to be preserving. :)
