    the free ride is over

I will just take my Volt to Portland from now on. $7.50 for a sixty mile range extension is the same thing as paying $6.00 a gallon in the Volt. At least now I can justify owning the volt because this just opened up 15% more driving for it. The monthly plan makes the 3 trips to...

    Brake dust on Volt = 0, LEAF >> 0

I charge my leased Leaf to 100 % every night. I have always thought that because the use of regen is unavailable when the battery is full that my Leaf was using the friction calipers more than my volt (which by default only charges to around 80%) and that was the reason for the excess break dust...

    Official Toyota RAV4 EV thread

Just saw my first Rav 4 in Port Hadlock Washington. The owner had it delivered from Cali. after $10000 rebate and tax incentives, no sales tax and 0% interest it was a no brainer. I'm jealous!

ICEless in Seattle : Official Pacific NorthWest thread

2 million people driving E.V's? People who use there cars in the city dont need quick charging, the overwhelming majority of them charge at home over night. it's when those people from the city want to go to Aberdeen or Forks driving through Bremerton, Shelton, Port Angeles. Oregon has level...

ICEless in Seattle : Official Pacific NorthWest thread

Why the concentration of DCQC in densely populated areas like down town seattle? Would it not make sence to install these chargers out of the city where people actualy need them. No one is driving excessive distances in Seattle. just two stations at either end of the city would suffice. We need...

    battery level/ performance

How much does a low battery, say one or two bars effect the exelleration of an electric car? Does the inverter just use more current when the battery voltage drops or is the 0-60 time effected by lower voltages? I ask this because last nite I finaly got to drag my Leaf against my Volt. I...

I have one on my phone but where I live there are simply to many hills for it to be accurate.

Have you brodered your LEAF? (Mileage from VLB to Turtle)

I wish this post was available last night as I put 74.5 round trip miles on the leaf going up into our local mountain range. with 5 miles of available range in eco remaining and 6.8 miles to get home I chickened out and decided to charge at a friends house for an hour rather than risking all of...

So last night I was cooking dinner when my wife called me after her yoga class, as she was coming home she found a car in her Volts charging spot, she told me she had been iced, at home no less. I quickly hung up and began to make a rude sign. Immediatly she called me back and said that there...

Will Leaf 110 charger work with other e-car or vice versa?

They can take any road trip they want! The c-max plug in is a erev that has a 21 mile all electric range followed by a ice range extender.
