Can Left foot rest be more comfortable/wider?

I'm 6'3" with U.S. size 12 shoes and I do also find that spot slightly uncomfortable. I kind of have to hit it just right/ignore it. It's not the biggest deal, but I do find it to be a small annoyance as well.

15 year cost of ownership (Cash buyers)

There are fewer moving parts to go bad in the leaf. I do wonder (naively, sure) how long she would run if you just kept plopping new batteries in her. Clearly this makes a lot of assumptions about the continued availability of freshly made batteries at reasonable prices.

    Better batteries through biology?

We do this. We have mutations with every generation of our offspring (introduce mutations). If we have **** ugly kids, when they grow up they're less likely to have children (or the alternative, in which society collects the ones they like). I think you misunderstand the way this works and...

    steam coming from front hood

before you pop it open make sure to feel the hood to make sure it's not WAY TOO HOT. This doesn't come from experience or anything, just, you worry me when you say steam rising and so I think you ought to be careful. That said you would benefit from delving into it further while it's happening...

    110 charging cord

Why do people carry outlet testers in their kit? Wouldn't the EVSE just test this itself? Sorry if that's a dumb question. Sincerely, New owner with little understanding of electrical stuff.

    Qualcomm Halo

nope, zero sarcasm. I do think that's really a good/interesting read.

    Rear bumper protection

I am wondering what I can buy that will stop other cars nudging my back bumper from scratching it. I've seen the bumper bully thing, but that's a bit too much more me looks-wise. I was thinking something likethis or this. Does anyone have experience getting something like this? Also the leaf...

    GID Meter and Cooler Weather

Sorry if I mis-spoke. I believe each GID to be the same energy value in all temperatures, so yes the loss of range is reflected by fewe GIDS, but each GID will have the same energy as it did. This is directed at (Will a fully charged cool battery (say 50 degrees F) hold fewer GID's than a warm...

    Driving a 2013 Tekna Leaff

A - not very economical, "electron pedal" is very shallow, doesn't regen aggressively. Best for gearing up to highway speeds A Eco - Deeper pedal (easier to regulate acceleration), regens more. Best for everyday driving B - Shallow pedal still, mixed with aggressive regen. Best for.... downhill...

Charge timer with 80% limit and no time of use billing?

In that scenario the only reason would be to keep it at a low charge state. So like, I leave for work at 8, let it be low charge overnight but be done at 8am so I can then drive away, minimizing the amount of charge the batteries hold.

    GID Meter and Cooler Weather

To my knowledge, that's correct. Fewer GIDs in colder weather. It'll still be a %, but I think the amount of energy those percentages mean are smaller.

    Steering wheel too hot!!

I drive about 20 miles, which takes between 20 and 45 minutes. I've noticed it cycle, but I've never felt it be an issue. I live in a warm climate (socal) so maybe that's the difference? My nancy boy hands need warming in the morning when it's like 55-60 degrees (f) out, and it does a great job...
