San Jose Mercury Roadshow Hybrids - Hotrods Event

A co-worker was asking my about an article in San Jose Mercury news about a LEAF going 30 in the slow lane. At first I felt defensive from all the Go Fast, Go Slow discussion on the board but the article was not about complaining - it was asking why with some very good answers. And there's the Hybrid - Hotrod event today with LEAFs as well.

For the 12 May 2012 H2H event, I have a Leaf and a Think City EV registered to display but can only drive one from Morgan Hill to the event myself. I'm looking for someone without an EV to drive to help me get the other one there and back. Please send me a PM to coordinate if you can help.

I will be there just looking at and trying cars (have no EV). Sorry, I don't think I can help JamesHenry. I'm not going to be there that long and am not a morning person.

I was ably to get a 6 mile test ride in the Fisker Karma on both city street and freeway. Whoa! Really high end finishes. 0-60 in about 5.8 seconds. 1000 ftlb of torque. Super quiet. Cornered like a sports car. Only $109K. Ouch.
