Our county lacks political what? Maybe you meant political strength? Turns on which side one thinks of. The power industry has tons of political strength. People are to apathetic, so due to that, voters have no political clout/strength/balls/whatever you want to call it. Once again, we will ALL vote Republican/Democrat ... and the party sponsors that they are beholding to will expect the piper to be paid ... and they (meaning the industrial military supply complex, and its twin sister the industrial power complex) will be paid by continuing to strengthen their power base ... and status quo will continue.
