    Leaf production in TN

Does anyone know about how many Leafs are being produced out of TN monthly? We always see sales, I thought it might be cool to have the production numbers as a cross reference. Maybe even to use as a predictor for future buying incentives.

    How dealers value used Leafs

In preparation for possible purchase of 2013 Leaf, went to Carmax to see what they would give me for my 2011 Leaf with 32,000 miles. The answer is $13,000. I've always considered them to be fair, I've sold 3 cars to them before. KBB says $17,000. Do any of these numbers seem reasonable?

    Tablet in the Dash

I'm working on putting an 4th gen iPad in the Dash on the leaf. I plan on relocating the factory head unit just below the dash in front of the center console, or maybe into the center console storage compartment. Has anyone done this yet?

    Battery check @ 15,550 miles

Just had my battery checkup and got 5 stars across the board! I've had the car about 7 months and have 15,500 miles. That's about 550 gas free miles per week, or 78 miles per day! I charge to 100% every time using my upgraded EVSE. My commute is 22 miles at 45-50mph and about 50 miles of...

    New update?

So I got an email last night saying there was an update available for my vehicle, and to go to the nearest dealer whenever I have time. Carwings reminded me of the same this morning. Did anyone else get this message, or did it just take them a few months to realize my car needed the update?

Woman suing for Civic Hybrid's poor Mileage

    J1772 EVSE Control Module

Saw this on Ebay, and after checking out the website, and reading the description, it seems as if you would only need to buy a j1772 handle, and supply power to this. Is this true? Pardon my ignorance...

    Ecotality and Walmart

Walmart is the perfect spot for charging stations. I know that Walmart would see an increase in sales, I mean, who wouldn't take a stroll through Walmart while their car was charging. http://www.ecotality.com/newsletter/20111122_ECOtality_Walmart_Partnership.html

    Mascots in Trouble

Trying to figure out how this fits in, my best try is that a polar bear is our mascot, and Leafs help with global warming? http://gma.yahoo.com/video/pets-26594274/polar-bear-invasion-in-manitoba-canada-27318468.html

Charge time from 60%-80% vs 80%-100%

After a lot of reading on the forum about charging to 80%, I'm thinking of giving it a shot. It should more than cover my needs, from what I've experienced so far. So, my question is, doesn't a leaf complete a charge from 60%-80% faster than from 80% to 100%? Or to take it a step further, does...

    owner site down?

So I tried to check my SOC via the app on my iphone, and it wouldn't update. Then, I went to the site via computer, and it wouldn't update there either. Last, I went to chat with someone from Nissan, and I can't get to the Leaf site through Nissanusa.com? Anyone else experiencing problems today?

AV Chargers no longer on ebay?

Before anyone yells at me, sorry for calling them chargers, I know the charger is built into the car, but I can't break the habit. Anyway, there were 6 available yesterday for $630 each, and now they aren't on there? Does anyone know who's selling them? Maybe they'll be back on today, but that...

    2011 vs. 2012

Is there any reason not to buy a 2011 for 3k cheaper than a 2012? Both SL's, the 2011 does have the quick charge port, as far as I know, the only thing the 2012 has that the 2011 does not is the cold weather package. I'm in Charleston, SC, and the LEAF will sleep in a garage, so I'm not sure if...

    Electricity provider may help more...

After reserving my LEAF last month I decided to contact my Electricity provider to see if they had any programs in place for EV charging. They informed me that they could install a second meter, and would basically give me a 30% discount on all electricity used to fuel my LEAF. The catch is...

    Rays Eco Wheels

So I've read a lot about swapping the wheels on the Leaf out for lighter versions to increase efficiency in city driving. I couldn't find any hard numbers or studies to back this up, but it only seems logical that lighter=better. Anyway, found these wheels that seem to cater to fuel economy, has...
